Bermuda’s Floating Sound Bath Experience is a restorative offering that combines the healing benefits of sound therapy with the calming support of water. Guests will float on a luxury, waterproof air mattress in the pool at The Rosedon Hotel while being immersed in the soothing frequencies of crystal singing bowls.
Crystal bowls are known to guide the brain into alpha and theta states, those associated with deep meditation, stress reduction, emotional release, enhanced clarity, and heightened mindfulness. The water acts as a natural conductor, amplifying the sound vibrations throughout the body to create a truly immersive and transformative experience. Together, this unique blend of elements supports a holistic reset for both body and mind.

FAQ
What can I expect?
Upon arrival, we kindly ask that guests remain quiet and turn off all mobile devices to maintain a peaceful environment. You’re welcome to take photos before or after the session, but phones must be off during the soundbath.
You'll be guided to remove your shoes and gently assisted onto your personal float. A blanket and eye pillow will be provided to encourage comfort and relaxation. Once everyone is in place, the soundbath will begin. Expect light, rhythmic movement in the water throughout the session to maintain balance and flow.
When should I arrive?
Please arrive by 8:15 PM to allow time for check-in and settling in.
Will I get wet?
The design of this experience ensures guests stay dry. However, you will briefly step into the shallow end of the pool to get on and off the float. Our team will be on hand to assist. The floats are 6’ x 4’, with soft, gripping fabric to help you stay securely in place.
What should I wear?
We suggest wearing something cozy and comfortable, such as yoga or activewear—anything you’d feel relaxed lying in for 45 minutes.
Do I need to prepare anything beforehand?
No preparation is required, just come with an open mind and a quiet, respectful energy. Phones must be turned off or on silent, and should not be brought into the pool area.
Is there a weight limit?
Yes, for safety and comfort, the weight limit per float is 250 lbs.
Is it safe for pregnant guests?
Every pregnancy is different. Please consult your doctor prior to attending. Many expecting mothers find floating after the first trimester to be safe and deeply relieving, but personal medical advice is recommended.
Important Notes:
-
Must be 18 years or older to attend
-
Please use the restroom before your session begins
-
Respect the space and fellow participants, this is a sacred, calming experience
This unique experience takes place in the pool area of a luxury hotel, adjacent to an open-air restaurant. While every effort is made to create a serene and immersive environment, ambient sounds such as soft music or conversation from the restaurant, as well as the occasional passing of resort guests, may be present throughout the experience. We kindly ask that participants arrive with an open mind and a willingness to embrace the natural setting and real-world elements that come with this outdoor environment. We believe that calm can be found even amidst life’s gentle background rhythms, and we thank you for being part of this peaceful practice.*
