Action on Alzheimer’s & Dementia was approved as a Registered Charity (#929) in March 2012. It is estimated that there are approximately 2,000 people living with a dementia in Bermuda; almost the same number as those living with cancer yet support, diagnosis and education around dementia is lacking.
Our Mission is to heighten public awareness & education regarding dementia and to improve the lives of all those affected by the disease in Bermuda
Our Vision is to see a Bermuda where people do not “suffer with dementia” but instead are supported to “live well” throughout their dementia journey.
