Learn about the endangered bluebird species with a local conservationist at a bird sanctuary located in a beautiful nature reserve.
While Bermuda may be a small island, Bermudians are extremely proud of the animals and plants that make this island so unique and The Eastern Bluebird (Sialia sialis), which is native to Bermuda, is a true symbol and icon of the island.
Bermuda is the only location outside North America where this species breeds and while on your tour you will learn about the endangered species and how Bermuda is successfully protecting them with nesting boxes.
You will get a hands-on experience monitoring the many nesting boxes in the park. After your walk and education with the conservationist, you may wish to enjoy a peaceful picnic lunch in the beautiful surrounding park.
Please note bluebird season runs from March to July. This experience can be offered outside of these months, but the broods are only present during those times.
